Flutist Trisha Craig specializes in 20th Century and contemporary repertoire, and performs in solo, chamber, and large ensemble settings throughout the region. She has been a featured soloist in the Macroom, Ireland, International Music Festival as well as several New England arts festivals. Her training includes the BM from Ithaca College and the MM in Flute Performance from Longy School of Music, where she studied with Robert Willoughby.

Trisha is a sought-after instructor and clinician. She teaches flute privately and through the Ted Herbert Music School, and is also the Conductor of the NMYO Flute Choirs, the Baker Valley Band, and the Farmington (NH) Community Band.  She has been a Guest Conductor for the NHBDA Honors Festival, the Flute
Specialist at Salem State University’s Woodwind Day, and has adjudicated countless flute festivals and competitions throughout New England.

For twenty-two years, Ms. Craig was the Owner and Director of Music Makers, a music school on the NH Seacoast. She has also taught flute at The Governor’s Academy, Flute Teaching Methods at University of New Hampshire, Applied Flute at Johnson State College, and has been the Guest Conductor with Willow Flute Ensemble and the Center Harbor Town Band.  She was also the first winner of the Robert Willoughby Baroque Flute Scholarship.

Trisha’s solo concerts are favorites among museums, art galleries, and other small venues. She is known for bringing the music and its time periods to life while engaging the audience in lively conversation. Learn more at trishacraigflutist.com.
