Robin Mallory
prelude string ensemble

Robin Mallory serves as Conductor of the Prelude String Ensemble for the 2023-2024 Concert Season. She also serves as a NMYO Chamber Music Coach.
 
Retired from the Dracut Public Schools as the string instrumental music teacher for grades 4-12, she maintains a private teaching studio in Dracut, MA. In her teaching capacity, she implemented a Music and Memory program at a local resident memory care facility, an annual Italian Feast for the community, and organized many cultural events for her students. She performs with the Nashua Chamber Orchestra and is a coordinator for the March String Fest where young string players participate in an orchestra in a noncompetitive setting.

The Massachusetts Teachers’ Association awarded Ms. Mallory the Kathleen Roberts Creative Leadership Award and MA-ASTA named her Orchestra Director of the Year. She serves as string adjudicator for Northeast Senior District auditions and served as orchestra manager for the Massachusetts All State Orchestra, the NE Senior District and NE Junior District Orchestras.
