Eric Duback is a music teacher, conductor, and string bass player in the Boston area. He is a director of orchestras and string instrument teacher for grades 4-12 in the Melrose public schools, the director of the NMYO Intermezzo orchestra (starting 26-27 school year), and principal string bass for The Brookline Symphony. He attended The Boston Conservatory, UMass Amherst, and The Hartt School.
Mr. Duback believes in the power of music to connect people, and that students can play music with accuracy and style when they can imagine the sound they want clearly. He believes that the role of a leader is to inspire others, and that every student can reach their goals with the right support. In addition to being totally obsessed with music, Mr. Duback also enjoys running, biking, playing games, and watching TV. |
